- Critical care and emergency medicine: I enjoy critical care and the variety of patients that it brings, but also enjoy the ambulatory setting. The emergency department is a great fusion of these two patient settings.
- Reason for choosing a residency:
- I knew I wanted to go into a hospital setting after graduation, but wasn’t sure what specialty I liked, or if I even wanted to specialize. Residency has allowed me to be exposed to different areas of pharmacy practice within the hospital setting, while also refining my clinical skills and knowledge.
- Residency Project:
- Pharmacist driven insulin dosing for hospitalized patients
- Outside pharmacy interests:
- My husband and I just bought a house so I have become a fixer upper! I also enjoy spending time with my family, knitting, skiing, and reading.
