Biography
Ann James is a nurse practitioner at MyCare Family Med and joined the practice in 2019. Prior to joining MyCare, Ann worked as a provider at Sandcrest Family Medicine and had also served as Director of Nursing at Columbus Health and Rehab Center. Ann is a native of Columbus and graduated from Columbus East High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing from Indiana University. She is Board Certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
Ann has developed special skills in physical examination, assessment, diagnosing, implementing and management of treatment plans. She has added services in the area of skin restoration, including collagen injection and microdermabrasion.

Ann James took the time to listen to my concerns. She looked back at my medical history before deciding on the next steps to the appropriate course of action. I appreciated her thoroughness.

I called on two prior occasions to make an appointment. I was told both times that what I needed was considered wellness care so I could not make an appointment until a certain date based upon my Medicare plan. I waited six months to finally see my doctor. In the meantime, I suffered with severe, untreated migraines.

I've seen Ann James since 2012 and can always count on her to be considerate, understanding and caring. I never feel pushed or pressured and I feel comfortable talking to her. It seems she remembers my past better than I do at times which tells me she is genuine and I have no desire to see anybody else. Thank you for being there for me!
